Choosing truffles one flavor at a time from the huge display cabinets to fill a large box - the staff are very patient and speak enough english to make this enjoyable
Fassbender & Rausch sure knows what they are doing when it comes to cakes and chocolate! This was very nice and tasty, the one thing to weigh down their score is unfortunately the staff. When we arrived we stood and waited at the entrance (where there was a desk/stand were waiters normally would welcome and seat guests from), for 6-7... More
Was as good as anticipated after reading the trip advisor reviews. The hot chocolate with whipped cream was the best I've tasted, and the white chocolate and raspberry mousse dessert was to die for. Not too pricey either. Glad to see that trip advisor have fixed their map though as it sent us to the factory, not the shop and... More
Went to cafe upstairs and had hot chocolate with rum and whipped cream with a small selection of the hand made chocolates wow !!!!!! But not cheap ! You have been warned lol . Downstairs is chocolate lovers paradise can't really do it justice by describing it but anywhere that has a huge chocolate titanic replica must be worth going... More
Pretty impressive shop, with every conceivable type of chocolate going. Models of the A380 and the Brandenburg Gate made of chocolate adorn the windows. We spent a good half an hour examining every possible chocolate for purchase. Then, just for good measure, took the lift up to the first floor where we promptly consumed a number of chocolate deserts and... More
Well worth a visit to this delightful chocolatier. Displays wonderful! Restaurant upstairs is light and airy, with a wonderful view. We ordered a chicken salad dish with the sprinkling of chocolate around the edges, different but very tasty.
I LOVE chocolate. A friend told me to stop here. I knew I was in the right place when I saw the Titanic done in chocolate. The chocolate art is quite impressive (and quite tasty)! If you are fellow choco-holic, stop by.
Undoubtedly the best hot chocolate I've ever had, and an amazing chocolate cake wrapped in marzipan with raspberry jam. Wonderful staff, incredible (and delicious!) chocolate creations and a great location. An added bonus if you visit between the end of November and Christmas is that the largest Christmas market in Berlin (in Gendarmenmarkt) is just over the road!
Good local chocolate with impressive store and cafe/restaurant They have huge chocolate art pieces you must see - and who can resist buying some as gifts - barks galore, many truffles and pralines and unique pieces
Had high expectations of this place after reading other reviews. Have to say it didn't really live up to the hype. The cakes are lovely, but the biscuit base on my wife's and our cakes were actually sponge, maybe we lost something in translation though. The hot chocolate drinks were ok, but maybe would have been better if they had... More
