Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We are not vegetarians, but wanted to eat veggie after quite a lot of meat during the last few days. The restaurant seems a little old fashioned, but the quality of the food and the very friendly service made it a wonderful experience. We had...the recommendations on the menu's first or second page. Finger licking good food.More

There is so much to choose from at this restaurant. All good quality. I had the lunch menu one day and that is incredibly good value.

I got a rice with seitan and mushrooms. It was good tasting and quite a good portion. My friend got some mushrooms with garlic and white wine sauce.

Vegetarian & vegan restaurant with a variety of dishes, salads and desserts on the menu. Good quality food and prices are fair too. Service is friendly even though their English is not fluent.

Just paid 11 euro for a plain salad and 9 euro for a side of hummus in this restaurant. No joke. They even managed to forget both olives and the canned asparagus in the salad..

We went for dinner in that restaurant one Tuesday night. We ordered 2 soups: Sopa de albondigas and Sopa de cebolla gratinada, no words regarding the first one... it was just delicious!! Even the onion soup was good. :) Then we took a plate of...rice with seitan and mushrooms and it was very good too, we shared that because the portions were very abundant. My boyfriend had a dessert too and he liked it a lot. The bill was 29 euros total! The waiter was super kind, very smily and he gave us some suggestions. :) The restaurant is pretty, cosy and quiet. I reccomend!More

First visited Raices in November, also my first visit to the city of Granada. Immediately enamored with both, returned this past weekend for what turned out to be another great experience. This time, during lunch with a friend, we shared the mushroom and cheese croquettes...as a starter, per the recommendation of our server. Delicious! (I don't eat most "croquetas" in Spain because they're filled with meat.) We also split the scrumptious Verbena salad: tomatoes, black olives, avocado, artichoke hearts, hearts of palm, greens and beets with a zesty garlic-enhanced dressing. Fabulous combination of flavors! My friend had the sweet potato and ginger soup, I went with the cheesy french onion soup (another dish I rarely order because of beef-based broths) and we enjoyed both. Finished with the unique, earthy carrot cake and coffee. A fabulous meal with friendly service in a comfortable, inviting environment. As my friend says, we can't wait to come back to try more items on the extensive menu, which features both vegetarian and vegan options.More

This is a good option in Granada if you are into veggie food. One of its strong points is the great variety of dishes they offer, in contrast with some other veggie eateries where the menus are a bit limited. The food itself is abundant...and tasty, being the prices quite good. The venue is decorated in a non-pretentious style, being cosy and natural. This establishment is located in a rather bland neighbourhood in the new part of the city, a few minutes away from the beautiful and touristy center of Granada. This may be the reason why most customers are locals, and the opening times are adapted to Spanish customs. This is definitely a place to recommend.More

Eclectic options with fusion foods. The mushroom and cheese croquettes were excellent. So was the veggie burger and cous-cous. As were the desserts.

We had lunch in this vegetarian restaurant in Granada, which apparently was the first veggie establishment in the city. It has a huge menu, featuring things like 'meat'balls, veggie burgers, kebabs, salads, etc. Unfortunately the focus seems to be primarily on the range of options...and the different mock meat products (tofu, soya, seitan, gluten) rather than on producing healthy, quality meals. We had a gluten kebab and the soya meatballs, both of which were fine but uninspiring. It is a nice little restaurant with friendly staff, so it is good that it is an option for local veggies and tourists. However, I feel that this place was proof that Spanish veggie restaurants need to focus on quality and creative cooking if they are going to do more than preach to the converted.More

We had their Menu Del Dia, a 5 course set menu. Had delicious gazpacho, integral bread, glass of red wine, vegan meatballs with delicious integral rice w lentils, caramel pudding, and coffee con leche de soya all for only 9.50 eu!! Their were other choices...on Menu Del Dia, as well. Their regular vegan menu is extremely extensive and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend! On par with Hicuri..which is much closer to centro.More

Was a relief to find a completely vegetarian restaurant and the meals were delicious. A little pricey but the place had wifi and great, friendly service. I would recommend the spinach rice dish with special sauce.

It was good to find a vegetarian restaurant but the food was ordinary for my liking. I like a bit more flavour and not so much grain food, possibly more chick peas or lentils. My food was not hot enough but my partners soup was...lovely and hot.More
