Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This bar was a big disappointment. We explained we wanted drinks and tapas and we're seated in the bar area. We were given a restaurant dinner menu in Spanish and then the different waiters seemed to ignore or forget about us. I asked the waiter...in English for a tapas menu and he said he only spoke Spanish. Fortunately my daughter is very at ease in Spanish so he explained we could order some tapas at the bar but they were not listed anywhere and no prices. He disappeared and never came back. We paid the bill for our drinks and left quite disappointed. Really don't bother to go thereMore

This bar is amazing and the complimentary tapas served with each drink just beautiful. I think Iona (?) Served us on a couple of evenings and perfectly matched the tapas to our drinks. Would highly recommend

As travelers from Australia, we rely very heavily on the recommendations of locals when deciding where to dine during our travels. Because we wanted to experience traditional Andalucian style food before departing Granada , we asked our local Walking Tour Guide where he'd recommend. His...suggestion- Bar Patio Braserito. What a wonderful way to spend our last evening in Andalusia. We arrived just after the restaurant opening at 8.05 pm and had the option of a Tapas style meal at the bar or to enjoy a longer meal at a table. We opted for the table. One of the wait staff had very good English language skills and navigated us through the menu. We confidently ordered a starter , 2 entrees and a main. Within minutes and to the credit of the restaurant, the chef advised the waiter that we'd order far too much We dropped one of the entrees! And were so glad we did. we loved the Artichoke starter, Calamari Entre and a simply superb Lamb and vegetables. All were outstanding as were the glasses of house wines we enjoyed. . This meal has been the best we have enjoyed in Spain and we have enjoyed quite a number. Our table neighbors during the evening - a young Spanish couple visiting Granada - spoke very highly about the restaurant and how highly regarded it was by the local Granada Community and other Spanish nationals, like them, travelling through Granada. The Owner is a gem also. Cant speak a word of English, We cant speak a word of Spanish. But somehow he was able to convey his sense of appreciation and care for us as visitors from another country as much as he conveyed this sense to the other local customers ón the night or to visiting Spanish Nationals in general. This is a must visit restaurant in beautiful Granada. We loved every minute of the time we spent at Bar Patio Braserito.More

I worry about telling you how amazing this bar is because I don’t want it to get so busy that we can’t get in! We’ve been coming here for 9 years. This is the place that convinced us we would one day live in Granada...(and now we do!) Seriously… the best beer in town. The friendliest staff, and the tapas and food are excellent. Thank you for always making us feel so welcome and happy here (especially when we brought my Mum & Dad this week on their first ever trip to Spain!) Hasta pronto!More

Beatriz and Heriberto made this lovely evening even better. They suggested what we ate and it was lovely. They were attentive and fun and helped us out with our limited Spanish. Food great, staff better. Would defnitely recommend.

We were recommended to come to this bar by our host, Jorge. The staff welcomed us and made us feel at home. The food was out standing. Unfortunately the menu is not in English, this just made us work a little harder. We went back...twice.More

This bar/restaurant was located behind the busy main streets and is well worth hunting down if you have time. We went for lunch and really appreciated the air con--it was 38 dc outside! The menu was extensive, offering large and half portions. Beware large portion...are large and are essentially sharing plates. We loved the aubergines with honey, a must when visiting Spain. As with all other bars and restaurants, the first tapas is complimentary and each restaurant offers different dishes. At Bar Patio Braserito, their free plate of tapas contained pate and cured meats, all of which were tasty and gobbled down quickly. Some English was spoken and we ordered prawns with shambled eggs and asparagus. The food and service was very good and we would come here again!More

My husband was craving for a good Spanish non-tapas meal after having had tapas for 7 consecutive days. We were in the neighborhood when this restaurant showed up as “well-rated” (4 out of 5 stars) in our TripAdvisor and Google searches. Although this restaurant was...not listed on FourSquare, my husband and I decided to give this restaurant a shot. It was 830pm and other than one other family and us, the restaurant was rather empty. However, we thought it was because we were eating way earlier than the Spanish usually do, we did not see this as an ominous sign. They only had menus in Spanish so we had a tough time deliberating what to order. The waitress was kind and recommended some dishes. She recommended us to try a dish with jamon, eggs and potatoes (fries). We decided to give that one dish a try since it was recommended by her and we didn’t know any better - it turned out to be the biggest disappointment my husband and I have ever tasted while on holiday. It was such a let down that even the tomato salad we had, which was only just sliced tomatoes, olive oil and seasoning, tasted better than the jamon dish that was served. I will let readers decide for themselves from the photos we took. Perhaps it was just this one dish that was terrible. However, I shudder to imagine how the other dishes that were not recommended by her could have tasted. Readers beware: in our opinion, the rating on TripAdvisor and Google is very misleadingMore

Spent a lovely evening here. We had walked along the 2 streets famed for the tapas restaurants and almost didn't stop here as, on arrival, it wasn't busy. Thankfully checked tripadvisor and decided to be the first customers of the evening. So glad we did....The food was great especially the salmorejo and the cod with tomato. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of dry white wine too which was very reasonably priced. The only reason I haven't score it 5 is because there were a couple of our menu choices unavailable when we visited.More

Sat outside here last night as looked very local/authentic in a quiet location. Service quick for first drink & good tapas. However, think the waiter was having a bad night as very unhelpful & even totally forgot our drink at one point. Food was tasty...but the sullen attitude of the waiter put us off staying for the evening. Quite pricey compared to similar places in the area.More

We ended up coming here several times, because every new dish we tasted was amazing! Prices are average for Granada but the quality is way above anything we tried in our one-week stay. I totally recommend the following : - alcachofas pedro ximenez (a total...must!) - berenjenas en miel (a total must!) - pimientos del padrón - plato mixto de jamón y queso - lomo al ajillo Moreover, when you order a drink, it automatically comes with a complementary side of hams! Last but not least : The staff is lovely. We will be coming back to El Braserito every time we visit Granada!More

The place was recommended by my father in law and he was right that it’s a place to visit in Granada. Service was extremely friendly, food delicious and in very generous quantities. Authentic Spanish experience. Lovely bar decoration. Don’t miss it once in Granada.
