I wish I read the reviews… the restaurant looks good from outside but the food is disgusting. Pumkin soup tasted of nothing. Bacalao de la casa that was supposed to be the main dish was a tiny portion of fried fish with lots of bones...and nothing else on the side.More
the menu includes just a class of beer and not a small bottle as it is standard, the same applies to the wine. I went there with my family and they charged us an extra 16 euros for the drinks (the big bottles of water...are neither included). Food was bad for Spanish standards, I do not recommend itMore
We were rushing and I didn’t check my TripAdvisor before walking in to this cute little restaurant that serves just horrible food. I couldn’t even eat the french fries because they were still frozen in the middle when served. My husband ordered the artichokes and...ham and the artichokes were clearly fresh out of the can! How we stumbled upon the worst restaurant in Toledo is beyond me. Definitely never again well I walk into a restaurant without checking TripAdvisor first.More
I ate once similar, but it was in Scotland (and I ate better there as well), so its not what you expect from Spanish resto. Food from freezer warmed in oil bath.
I had been walking for hours, and had not preplanned a lunch stop....but I rarely do. I noticed their regional fare menu and though not partridge, there was quail as a choice. The waiter (I think half of the ownership) wanted to put me by...the door...twice, and after saying "no" twice, he let me make my own choice. Several tables filled with locals so I had hopes. Bread was airy French stuff, salad was substantial, beer in bottle, and the quail was fall off the bone delish. Just some sort of fries on the side, but good particularly with the quail broth. The dessert flan was fine. For 10E in a area with Menu del Dias often 15E, I was happy with it. Wife worked to make up for husband, but by end of meal I got him to smile a bit and he was willing to direct me to the Cathedral with a 'hasta luego' at the end.More
went before reading reviews- absolutely rubbish. Plates thrown together from a distance- managed to burn calimari !!!! These people are in the wrong profession!! Possibly the worst meal ever in all of Spain!!
