We stopped in on a rainy evening for a light snack before our train back to Madrid. The bocatilla pizza was amazing. Service was fast but not overly carasmatic. Prices were reasonable for being right off the popular Zocodover Plaza.
Food is excellent! My husband had the pig cheeks and I had the pork ribs. So tender and excellently seasoned. Potatoes were crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. Staff was lovely. We ate inside but there are several outdoor tables streetside.
We went there for dinner. At the beginning the waiter did not seem very friendly, but I guess he was just too busy. Once we were seated, he was actually pretty enjoyable. We (6 people) ordered all 4 tapas as well as some other dishes....The pork rib is the best, we also like pork cheek. They have menu in English, so it was easy to order. We noticed locals come and go for quick drinks. Overall it was a great experience.More
Found is off the main zocodover square and enjoyed a nice meal of goats cheese salad to start , lasange (very tasty ) and pork ribs with orange sauce and cube potatoes . All delicious . Waitress under pressure outside but would still recommend
I first visited this place 6 years ago. We had lunch there again 2 weeks ago. As a foodie, I must say that the food there made my visit to Toledo even better. We ordered 4 different plates which were all exquisite. Some of the...best croquetas I've eaten in Spain but what blew my mind were the eggplant fingers accompanied with honey and sesame. As a Greek, eggplants are frequent on my table but I could never imagine that honey would take this vegetable from very good to heavenly. Carcamusa was delicious and tender but the other surprise was Duelos y Quebrantos which is a homage dish to Miguel de Cervantes as it's mentioned in Don Quixote. I have no words to describe it. We devoured it-actually we devoured everything. I'm looking forward to trying new things in this adorable place.More
first of all, the way the attendents treated us loooked like they were doing a favour by serving us. then, when the food arrives, it looks like you are in a plane. they must have stolen those dishes from the nearest airline company surely. it...doesnt matter if you order the 12 euros menu, or the costela iberica. its a no go for flavour. just go to mcdonalds and thank meMore
Not impressed with the menu express (see photo) They bring you your selection in a tray all at once!!! I wish I new their system. Then the flavor/taste. I do t normally leave food in a plate, this time despite, the less than plentiful, I...did. Two months vacationing in Spain and now will have this in my memory. Let me not talk about the service!!!More
This is a nice looking restuarant, with seemingly all female staff - very busy at lunchtime. We tried El Buñuelo (quite tasty), Cañas de berenjena (good), Croquetas caseras (average) and Finger de pollo (not very nice) with 4 drinks for €42 - this was expensive...for what we ordered. The menu del dia, however, looked tasty and good value.More
Cuchara da Palo is a smart bar, furnished in a modern, well done “shabby chic” style. It’s at the bottom of Calle Santa Fe where the road bends. There is good seating inside and out and the service was very good. Our beers came with...complimentary tapas.More
We stopped in here for a quick snack and to get out of the heat. It turns out we found a little jewel of a restaurant. My wife had the “Costillar ibérico asado a baja temperatura.” It’s a low temperature slow-cooked rib roast that comes...with with potatoes and orange sauce. It was very delicious. I had the “Albóndigas de pollo de corral.” This dish is free-range chicken meatballs that’s stewed in pepitoria and served with potatoes. It was fantastic. We both were pleased with this eatery. Bottom line: I recommend dinning at this restaurant. It’s clean with a nice ambiance. Restrooms are available for guests and the prices area pretty good too.More
This was a lovely surprise after higher priced careless cooking in Madrid. Friendly staff and skilled chef.
We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. Everything was delicious. We had slow cooked pork rib, salad with goat cheese and strawberries, mushroom croquet and a kind of meat tapas. All was very good and the prices were reasonable. I strongly recommend this place!
We were looking for a place to eat in Toledo and we found this amazing gem. We loved the food here and the beer was just amazing. Really good price and super tasty food. Super recommended!!!
TOP TOP TOP. Little more to say. Good food, good drinks and excellent service. Little else to add . For sure I will come back
