Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is what you get when you forget to check reviews and find a place that has seating on a busy day. The fixed menu was reasonable and varied but still wasn't worth it. It was obviously a place that caters to tourist groups and...the food quality was fairly low. This was easily the worst meal that we had during a week of amazing meals in Spain. The food was bland bland bland. Service was also pretty mediocre - two servers were trying to hold things down through a rush of tourists from a group.More

The restaurant is located is the narrow, full of misteries streets of Toledo, near the Alcazar Fortress. The place where we have eaten, more precisely upstairs, in the dinning area, was clean and pleasant. The food was prompted served, tasy and on a budget. The...waitress very kind.More

It is the first time we have left a restaurant without eating because of the food quality! Frozen, under-cooked food! Horrible.

The restaurant is close to the Toledo Alcazar(Arabian Fortress ), now The Spain Armed Forces Museum and the squares in the Historical downtown of Toledo. We had lunch in the dinning area upstairs. The area was clean, with a modern design. Our waitress was very friendly,...work really hard to please my party of six. The food was quickly and properly served, with good presentation and quality. The price was 10 Euros per person, with a bottle of red local wine.More

Just avoid this restaurant, our experience was really bad. We had the menu of the day (options for 11€, 13€ and 16€, if I remember correctly). At the first course we had gazpacho and cannelloni. The gazpacho didn't had the taste of a proper one...and the cannelloni looked weird. The second course was better (beef steak with french fries), but just ok. The dessert was awful - a chocolate tart with strange taste. I would not recommend.More

we eventually entered here, skipping the most busy streets, and because it had perdiz and codornices in the menu. We had a very nice surprise in this place, it is truly local, staff is nice and food was delicious. In my group, there was someone...who really know about how to make and eat codornices and perdiz, and even he found this restaurant cooke it at perfection. I did think the same, incredibly well prepared. And good prices. Overall, good value for money. Recommended!More

Having arrived in Toledo we left our bags in the hotel and headed into town. After a few options we liked the look of this menu. Three course for 13 Euro was great value. The waiter helped to modify choices for one veggie diner. The...paella to start was moist and very tasty. The 1/2 roast chicken to follow was tender and delicious. Veggie options are more limited but they did cater for our needs with a lovely pisto pachegu. The waiter helped us with our spanish and did help with speaking some English. The tables are upstairs so it's hard to see what's on the plates from the road however it was worth the visit upstairs. A simple, tasty choice with a friendly welcome.More

Most resturants in Toledo are geared to the lunch time day tripper trade and get far less custom in the evening. When we arrived they were clearly not expecting anyone as the lights in the dining room upstairs were off. Dispite being the only diners...we were made very welcome and had an enjoyable meal. Apart from a la carte they offer two set menus at €13.50 and 16 which include 3 courses , bread and a bottle of wine. The food was tastey , the portions generous and the service was good. We had a nice table by a window over looking the quiet street below.More

The 9 euro meal was well cooked and tasty. A whole bottle of wine between two, not the best, but quite drinkable. We were the only customers at the time, so naturally the service was good. No problem in recommending this restaurant.

We have been there with friends and children. That was awful. First we have been in the cave, only one menu for 15 ..., but the worst coming : food. My paella had the taste of burned rice, also the fries was bad, the smell...of the fish decided us to left the restaurant without finishing most of ours plates. When we were paying I had the chance to see the kitchen. If you have any doubt : try yo see the kitchen before ordering. One of the worst restaurant ever tried !More

We had been looking for somewhere a little more than a cheap tourist restaurant when we saw the sign for Restaurante Los Arcos. We walked the 100 or so meters to it and went upstairs. We were the second table to be seated and at...the other table were locals. Within ten minutes the restaurant was packed with families and locals - we were the only tourists. The menu was still very inexpensive (and only in Spanish) but service was friendly and prompt and the waiter went out of his way to ensure that we knew what we were ordering (he came with a piece of paper with English/Spanish translation after we ordered to check that we were happy!). It was a wonderful way to experience a typical Sunday lunch among locals. Highly recommend.More
