Paella mixta I dont recommend as you get micro shrips and end of chicken wings. So what you can eat out of plate is rice ONLY Sangria is like sweet sirupe brbrrrr.... Toilettes clean! So this is only one benefit from having luch there.
We only stopped for late afternoon drinks which seemed to be what most people were doing. It has seating in a nice little square.(Plaza amador de los rios) Plenty of shade. Large draft beer €4 each. No tapas served with it. We actually wanted a...bottle of beer but they didn't have anything in a bottle available other than Heineken. Also pay up front which is a little odd for Spain. Toilets a little dirty and no paper. At least the beer was cold..More
We have an apartment for a week in plaza Amador de los Ríos and look out at this restaurant so decided to try it since he advertises churros. I honestly wonder if he ever has churros. First attempt was around 5pm, he said no churros....The next day I asked him what time we could get churros he said he was closed the next day but would open again on Wednesday at 10am with churros. Today we went down at 2pm for lunch, assuming he would have churros, nope, he stops serving them at 1pm. We ordered lunch, we got two plates of steak with fries, first time in Spain I’ve ever been served frozen fries, they always make them fresh, it’s like the one thing I can count on, not at this place. We also ordered calamari. The guy who owns this place is a constant jerk. Every time I’ve stopped by, he is rude to me, he’s never happy we came and rarely pays attention to any of the guests. Oh he doesn’t have any Ketchup or sauce as accompaniments. He serves calamari alone, just a plate with fried squid, I asked him for aollie or something to go with it he says he only had plain mayonnaise, fine. We also asked him if he had tortilla, no he said. When I went inside to pay, because he refused to bring me the remote card machine even though he had one, I saw a tortilla in the case, I asked him why he didn’t offer it. He said because I asked for Tortilla Espanola and this is tortilla campera but I didn’t see anything extra in it and even if it did have bell pepper, why not say we have this tortilla option? The guy is crazy rude and his food is low quality and his prices high. I truly believe the only reason he gets customers is because he has the Churro signs everywhere and so people sit down thinking they can order churros, it’s loco!More
My mistake, I normally check Trip Advisor, however this time I forgot. The location was good and service was ok, however the food was poor and over priced. Worst food experience in Spain.
The waiter ignored me for a good 10-15 minutes (only 3 other tables eating so not like it was busy), so I made my feelings clear and left. Looking at the other reviews, I think he did me a favour so thanks for being so...rude 👍🏻More
The waiters were like sloths. The cashier was rude. And the cherry on the top of the cake is that the dessert was rotten and the waiter pretended he didnt even see it.................the food.....so basic, didnt worth the money
Over priced food and wine. Poor wine, worst we've been served in Spain. Small wine and food portions. We ordered 2 dishes, 4 came out then the waiter wanted an argument! One good thing... the location.
Small plates, badly prepared, overly expensive. Terrace may be nice for a drink. Toilet has no seat, does not close, soap does not work and neither does the drier.
The food is AWFUL - 2 people got food poisoning and was very sick for 2 days. The owner and servers are incredibly rude and downright crazy. The owner was yelling at a customer because she wanted to send the food back - a rice...dish that looked like a dog had vomited on it. Servers and owner telling people to leave if they were not going to order food. They're also incredibly over priced and slow... a total tourist trap. Do you eat here if you value your health.More
Perfect terrace and churros in spring. Enjoying Toledo on a really nice plaza..Calm and sunny superb.
Awful meal served by a waiter who really tried . Wine was terrible and we were not able to buy any other as the wine we were served was all they carried . Do not eat here
Service was excruciating slow. Waiter was clearly in the wrong job!! Excellent location. Ok food but took an hour to arrive.. it was pre-cooked. Really wouldn't bother going to this place. BAD feelings all round 👎
Long wait, horrible food, horrible wine, rude owner. In the picture raw chicken with wet fries dipped in water. Paella was heated with microwave. Stay away
Concerning prices it looks like we are in Paris.. hahahahahah... Oh well... Terrible food. Service unacceptable. Definitely I will never go back to this place. Places like this will destroy tourism of this city.
