We had the pleasure of visiting this little gem in the midde of the Rambla. Boqueria has a lot to offer from fresh fishes to a variety of fruit juices and pastries for people on the go. I would recommend you to visit this place. Such a great location to take amazing pictures too ! more

Boqueria, Boqueria, Boqueia,,, I was told a must see but nothing but a large market really. Nice, colourful, loud, nice building and all but no really my thing. I hit the Mercat rather hungrily but was a little dissapointed. Tapas were fine, however the whole place smelled rather strongly of fish. Maybe it was just an off day for me... more

this market doesnt hold a candle to Farmers Market in Los Angeles. There are few eateries, mostly fruit and fish to buy. Its interesting to see and thats about it, not the cleanest place either. more

We had some pulpitos and navaja, worth every penny. Another restaurant alone the left side to the entrance, is also good. Some sites recommended different restaurants, we also tried them; but i personally think these 2 are the best The price is comparable to any restaurant along La Ramblas with a set lunch, but you get fresh seafood! more

This is such a great food market. The food is beautiful and it's really neat to see it all. We ate at a vegetarian place in the back and it was so very good. We also bought fresh fruit and nuts for snacks. more

Had a variety platter at the "Organic" stand at the back of the Mercat -- really good. The highlight was the strawberry/banana, strawberry/coconut and orange/papaya smoothies sold at numerous stands. The atmosphere was lively and the way each vendor's wares were displayed made me want to buy everything! more

One of the very coolest things to do in Barcelona, especially if you love food, is to come to this market, a feast for all of the senses. How good is this place! Any type of food you could want (or in some cases not want) all available in the one place. We just wandered around and picked up bits and pieces for an extremely cheap mobile lunch. Great for the stomach but probably even better for the eyes! more
