Found this restaurant by chance, booking recommended due to demand, but the staff placed us at the bar due to tables being full. The food was really delicious, lovely varied fresh menu and good size dishes - some of the best food in Barcelona so far, mid-range pricing worth it due to overall quality. Would highly recommend.

This restaurant had been well recommended ahead of our visit and didn't disappoint. Beautifully situated in the Gothic quarter, the food, service and ambience were excellent. The staff were very attentive and concerned that our fish was cooked exactly as we liked it. The desserts in particular were delicious. We booked a week ahead and recommend others do the same.

Part of the fun was finding this authentic Catalan restaurant in the gothic district. First seating started at 8:30 and the restaurant filled quickly. The staff were efficient, friendly and the restaurant was charming. The food was good and simple, my favorite was the eggplant and goat cheese terrine appetizer.

This is a lovely restaurant in the Gothic quarter with the option to sit outside or inside. Service was friendly and efficient and the food was absolutely delicious. Menu was interesting and most choices have a half portion option. Great value!

Ambiance A+, food A+, service A+ -- beautiful little jewel box of a restaurant in Barri Gotic -- be sure to check days and times when open and by all means make a reservation -- there was a line at the door when it opened at 8:00 PM -- with no reservation we managed to get a table but it... More

High standards are found in every aspect of this restaurant with a relaxed, calming and comfortable experience to be had. Menu is varied with some great options. Service is professional in a not too intrusive way. Worth a visit for a special occasion or as a nice retreat in a cool ambience.

After numerous trial and error our group visiting the ESA 2013 congress, stumbled upon this gem! Such a great mystically wonderful setting that was prepared for us in the wine cellar! Food was fabulous! Definitely worth a visit!

A nice, comfy space near Jaume square welcomes the visitors, many tourists, but don't let that scare you away. Everything on offer was very good, including the house bread and olives. The jewel in the crown was a duck liver risotto i'd have killed for, specifically i'd have killed a duck and extracted its liver, then added it to a... More

Rich tasty food. We went for lunch and had a la carte as well as the menu del dia. Its slightly more expensive than the average Menu del dia (starter, mains and dessert) in Barcelona (I think it was about 16 - 18 euro) but everything we ate was delicious and completely worth it. The guinea fowl was amazing. The... More

The food was so tasteful, so rich. The wine was simply amazing. And Im picky with wine I can tell you. We had the bouillabaise, the catalan soup, the risotto and the creamy rice with seafood and the chocolate dessert. This was theest restaurant in Barca, actually the best we ate at for quite some time. Not too complicated or... More
