Don't know why tourists flock to Mercat de la Boqueria. Mercat Santa Caterina is cleaner, far less crowded, and even cheaper. The produce is simply gorgeous (see photo). We had lunch here three times in a week, so we got to try a variety of dishes. All were good. I appreciated the vegetarian options; my husband enjoyed the meat. Quality was very high. Prices were kind of high too, but not unreasonable. more
