We spent my wifes birthday at the La Luna and it was a great choice,we had looked long and hard for a decent restraurant and it was worth the effort. very average. went on a monday night. initially we were the only ones in the restaurant. lovely dining room. food was very average bordering on poor. the ping of a microwave didn´t inspire confidence. fish pie was more mashed potato than fish. more
Once you find this hidden gem you will ceep coming back. The restaurant is located in a dark alley in the Borne area. This restaurant is quite central though no taxis seemed to recognize the street name. FYI its only about 5 mins walk from the Jaume 1 subway stop. Anyway both the area and the restaurant are nice. We went there by chance in August this year with french friends. We enjoyed the food as well as the quiet atmosphere. One of our most delicious addresses in Barcelona so far. more
This restaurant has oodles of character, the food is great and it's easy to get to. However the service was very slow, even though it wasn't busy but it didn't spoil our evening. more
(If I could, I would actually rate this at 3.5 stars or "above average".) We arived at 22.30 and the place was very busy but luckily we could still get a table. so friendly and helpful, lively atmosphere, good food, good value. a little hard to find, but worth the effort!! look out for the guinness sign above the door. I would go again, and will recommend to friends more
There was a bad smell in the restaurant which I know can afflict some of the old city but not what you want when you're eating for the night. I will say the food was good but not outstanding. Fine for a casual eat but not for a business dinner or for somewhere to impress. more
