Amazing gambas carpaccio entrée. Nice atmosphere. Other than that quite disappointed. Overall still a nice dinner. Be there at the opening as it totally fills at 9pm.
We made the mistake of listening to our receptionist at the hotel near Bazaar. A group of 4 of us had dinner in this bright, spacious restaurant filled with food products on shelves which was one giveaway that it might not be authentic. We were seated in an empty restaurant next to the only other table filled with diners. Next,... More
Decided to go here one evening and feared we would not get in. We went a little earlier (8pm) by Spain's standard. We were greated warmly and shown to our table right by a large window. The restaurant is done in white tones which is reminicent of South Beach, Miami. Settling back over a nice Rioja the menu offers many... More
This was one of our favorite restaurants on a recent trip to Spain. The menu was full of unique dishes. 4 of us went and we all shared appetizers, entrees and desert. Not a single miss among them. We loved everything. Be adventurous in ordering; you won't be disappointed.
This restaurant is very trendy with beautiful clientele and great decor but the service, in particular, leaves a lot to be desired. Six of us ordered dinner within minutes of arriving as the waiter was hassling us for our order and we were shocked when the food was dumped in front of us within 5 minutes!!! The second course appeared... More
We visited Bazaar as our Hotel was situated in Chueca and it had a lot of positive reviews. We weren't disappointed. Arriving early as there is a no booking policy, we were lead to our seat in the swishly decorated and empty restaurant. The menu had an eclectic mix of dishes which were all very reasonably priced. The service was... More
I´ve been there 8 years ago and decided to give it a try once more. The restaurant looks still the same and I can really recommend it. It´s in a lively area and not far from the metro. The food was nice and the portions were decent. The price is very fair and he interior is pleasant. Make a reservation... More
Stumbled upon this restaurant by accident with a couple of friends and we were all pleasantly surprised by the different dishes. Very good food for a very reasonable price. Only downside is that dishes followed eachother too quickly & that empty plates are removed immediately, even if your other dinner partners haven't even finished theirs yet.
We were recommended by our hotel to visit this restaurant for the menu del dia (midday meal = late lunch), which is served by most restaurants between noon and 3pm (or so). The restaurant was located on a side street in an old building but the interior looked surprisingly modern and bright. The meal consisted of a few choices for... More
Nice and very popular restaurant in Chueca. I have been there several times over the years and it is often hard to get a table - especially upstairs. Luckily their basement is nice as well. Friendly asian staff and modern spanish food with a twist. Great gaspacho. Risotto is mediocre.
