My boyfriend and i visited this restaurant twice in our 3 night stay in Madrid. We read the reciews on TA and thought it would be worth a visit. The food was lovely, lots of choices on the menu...pasta, pizza, meat, and fish. All of the food served to us was very fresh and the portions were of good size.... more
This is a great place to go and partake in an authentic Italian dish. The pastas and pizzas are delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and fosters togetherness. I love this place! Inside can feel a little cramped, but their food is wonderful! I love their gnocchi with basil pesto - and after the meal, their limoncello is a must have!!! more
Good food and reasobnably priced. They had a menu in English and many of the waiters could speak English which is a bonus in Madrid. Definitely recommend. more
I liked this mom and pop place. It was homely, and we were treated well by all of the staff. Entrees were ok, but we've had better italian. Still worth going because it's a nice atmosphere! more
was in a group of 8 girls and we all really enjoyed it. on arrival we were given the menu which was all in spanish, we asked had they any english versions but they didn't. our waiter didn't speak english either so we were lucky we had a spanish speaker with us who was able to translate. in saying that... more

We dine in Italian restaurants often. While Spanish food in Madrid was generally quite good, we had to try Pulcinella after several recommendations.
