My wife was in the mood for a veg meal and this place met her need We each had a 3 course meal for $12 The food was tasty and filling
La Biotika serves salubrious food in a relaxing atmosphere. Some items have very simple flavors, while others have a little more going on. The menu of the day provides good value and vegan options. Baked apple dessert was nice. Fresh juices are a plus. The shop next-door sells fresh produce and many vegan items.
We enjoyed a wonderful menu del dia at La Biotika and, despite the full tables and tight spaces (seemingly all locals--a very good sign), the service was relaxed, friendly, and helpful. The food was a delicious take on Spanish traditional (stuffed peppers, rice dishes, soup) and a very good value. We had three vegetarian menu del dias in Madrid, and... More
When we were there, a macrobiotiic cooking lessons was taking place. A demonstrator was cooking and explaining to six pupils, who were jotting down notes. We overheard some interesting notions, some of which we were familiar with, others that sounded a bit far-fetched. We ordered some vegetarian, vegan and macrobiotic dished and drank some organic white wine. At the end,... More
I read good things about this place, and went there to check the hype. The restaurant is quite small, and yet it feels very impersonal. The menu was really quite confusing. They have Menus A,B,C,D, which were quite hard to decipher. The presentation was ok, but not particularly cared for. Service was slow, and not very attentive (although it was... More
Although I'm not vegetarian or vegan, this restaurant situated a couple of minutes walk from the Anton Martin metro station was a welcolme change to some of the heavier fayre I'd been eating in restaurants and tapas bars around Madrid on the previous days before I visited. The lunchtime fixed price menu was good value with the possibility of a... More
We went to this restaurant after reading recent reviews on trip advisor. The food was terrible, the service was poor. We were extremely disappointed with the meal and overall experience.
Ive been here a number of times, I think it's great. Lovely staff, laid back (never feel rushed as you can elsewhere) and its good honest home cooked vegetarian food. I'd highly recommend it
I was excited to try a vegetarian restaurant in Madrid. Overall, the food was okay. The menu of the day is a good deal (€10.5), with options for starters, main meal, and desserts. I particularly enjoyed the wild rice with raisins, but everything else was okay and somewhat mediocre in flavor. The tempeh was not well-prepared. For desserts, they had... More
I´m sorry, I didn´t like this restaurant at all! I´m a vegetarian but this doesn´t mean that i don´t like TASTE and the food there doesn´t have much. 11€ isn´t much but I could have cooked this food easily by myself in 20 minutes, only the desert was good. We were four vegetarians and not a single person liked it.... More
