This restaurant gets lots of exposure, presumably because it is in carmen. Unfriendly Spanish staff but lovely Dutch waitress who served us. Just because we had a bad experience of course doesn't mean you will ,but food was virtually inedible and expensive. more

good paella de valencia, a little greasy but very tasty, gotta mention the spicy bread dipping that comes in shot glasses, don't know what it is but it tastes sooo good! more

We were not received in a friendly way. Our white wine was not cooled. We had to wait a very long time for our fish to arrive. It was served with an enormous onion hardly cooked. We payed a lot. A real TOURIST TRAP more

We were 2 persons (speaking 7 languagues at native level..including italian) not spanish speaking. This introduction just to say that El rall was most probably the most unfriendrly place ever been to...waitress was bothered to explain and no one of them was clearly willing to let us know what the food was (given that we were looking for something vegetarian).... more

we did try the paella. what a disaster. the rice was burned. sticked to the pan a handfull of rice, 2 mussels, 2 shrimps and 1 langustine for 15 euro´s pp. this nearly theft more
