Stopped on for lunch after touring the Vatican. All up a safe choice for a bite to eat and refresh but nothing extraordinary.
I first visited this restaurant in March on my way back from the Vatican. I was travelling with my mother who had the lasagne (she - an Italian - said it was the best she had ever had) while I had the vegetarian pizza which was fabulous. The prices were reasonable, the staff were nice, service was swift... So when... More
Really enjoyed this meal. Prompt service good food with daughter orderring an exceptional salad. Price was not out of order for the location. The secret - we came early before the bus tours arrived. Sultry attractive italian hostess impressive.
What we didn't like: -they gave and charged us for a carafe of tap water, instead of giving us the bottle of mineral water we ordered -the waiter was nowhere to be seen for the first twenty minutes after we had sat down -the cheeses that came on the cheese plate were, for the most part, hard and inedible. Dropped in on the way back from the Vatican. We ordered a margarita and a vegetarian pizza. We ate it because we were hungry but definitely would not go back or recommend it. It was dry and tasteless and overpriced. To top it off the service was terrible. We waited 20 minutes before the waiter even took our drinks order... More
...im not saying i didn't eat it. But it comes with fries. So you better like potatoes. Otherwise, the food is comparable to every other touristy place around, but the prices are actually good considering location. We came because we were hungry after the vatican, so they get points for location. And the sign on the door that says "vegetarian... More
We went to this restaurant mainly because it started raining and we had to hide. I ordered a salad costing €9 and to my surprise what I got was leaves, half tomato and some grated carrot - no dressing at all. The salad was advertised in mains part not side so to get leaved was disappointing. My boyfriend got calzone... More
The Manhattan Menu was terrible. Hard bread and untasty burger. The ceasar salad wasn't eatable. The chicken in it was disgusting. This fast food restaurant is not to recommend! Price 20.50 Euro, it's too expensive!
Something serious must have changed since the bad reviews, we had a great experience here. Popped in for lunch on our way to the Vatican, we were a group of 8 and they managed to squeeze us in. The food was fab, massive salads, burgers and the most amazing pasta I've ever had, I highly recommend the arriabatta, our entire... More
