We stopped off here on our vintage Vespa tour (yes, really!!) for a quick espresso and a caffe latte. The place is buzzing, dead busy, it was Saturday morning, the smell is immense so just go with the flow! Go to the till first to place your order, then with your ticket go to the counter for whatever you've ordered.... more
Great place for a quick coffee and pastry to start your day, but warning, the "hot chocolate" is truly hot chocolate. It's melted chocolate in a cup. Certainly too rich to drink for an American. more

Don't miss this Caffe'. We had cappucino here this morning and pastry. What a wonderful memory. I had been told about this place and I am so glad that we went. Just came back from a week in Rome. This corner cafe has wonderful sweets, such as lemon cake, apple tart cake and others, which go beautifully with the excellent coffee. Stop by in you can. more

THE place to drink coffee in Rome, which probably makes it the best coffee in the world. Sit at an outside table if your legs are tired, but the cappuccino here will cost you 3 euros (still a bargain). This is a famous bar for good reason. I don't normally have cappuccino over a straight cafe, just like I would never order a shandy over a pint. However, the cappuccino was amazing. So sweet and creamy. My husband had the Monachella which was even nicer than the cappuccino. Very quick service, very busy with very cool bartenders! More expensive... more
This is the best place for coffee in Rome. Drinking at the bar is the best way to go if you don't want to pay triple the price to be seated! Though can't stay at the bar for too long due to the heavy traffic, but this is definitely the place to go if you want the best in Rome!... more
