Doesn't look like much from the outside: Doesn't look like much from the inside either. But don't let that fool you. The food is great, the prices are awesome, the people are very friendly. Very popular with the locals, you have to book in advance.

Over all it was ok, had a good time food was ok but not to my expectations. No frills…house wine red or white no options, keep your cutlery between courses, paper menus. It’s ok not expensive, however not a place I would visit again, there...are better alternatives.More
Terrible place with terrible food. You think that since it has a “traditional” and historic reputation, you will have a good experience…well you won’t. I am also from the region this is why I feel very comfortable in saying that it’s just poor food.
I was dining solo, arrived early without reservation, and was welcomed immediately. Excellent dinner, they were patient and kind with my a1 level Italian language. I enjoyed myself and would absolutely return-
Perfect Match between amazing food and quality. Friendly staff, fun and best sellers for me! Suggest by me because in close to the hospital, close to the central Bo and "fresh area". I wish to come back to Bologna as soon as possible. Thank you...for all the staff: Owner, supervisor, managers, commis and waiter, Chef and sous chef, kitchen porters and people around. Thank you so much guysMore
If you're a tourist visiting Bologna, don't go to this restaurant. Awful and rude staff, food so-so and finally, if you speak English, they don't like it! there is so many fantastic restaurants in Bologna, don't waste your time and money in this place...
Perfect place to try real italian food and feel unique local atmosphere. During our 3 days stay in Bologna we visited Trattoria Da Vito 3 times! We highly reccommend this amazing place!
A very typical place Great pasta (lasagne, tortellini, tagliolini and so on ) a " must" that everyone has to taste. But also very good meat (eg bocconcini di pollo alla cacciatora)
Out of the way and heaving with locals, this restaurant is delicious and very good value! Two starters, two mains, half a litre of wine, water and two coffees for €34 including service charge. Book ahead or get there at opening. We arrived at 7.40...and were offered a seat straight away, within 30mins the place was full with a queue waiting! Wonderful, hearty food. Tortelloni al ragu was great!More
Different kind of pasta were all very well prepared, also antipasto was nice and fresh and grilled sausages. Desserts were just fine and also side bread can be better. But, wine was perfect, especially white one. The second nice thing is an atmosphere, You just...enjoy being there. I strongly recommend to visit the place!More
We recently enjoyed a special celebration in this restaurant and were not disappointed one bit. The food was scrumptious! I had lasagna (some of the best I have eaten) while my husband enjoyed the stinco tremendously. The bottle of wine was a fine accompaniment to...the meal. This place was recommended to us and we were at first a bit surprised by the location (a little off the beaten path) and the interior (simple and rustic), but none of that mattered once we tasted the food. It was well worth the search. All those that were dining in the same area where we were seated seemed to be thoroughly enjoying their dining experience. The place was busy but not uncomfortably crowded while we were there. We would highly recommend this local restaurant for the food and even the unique atmosphere. Meals were very reasonably priced as well!More
Recommended as a great trattoria by a local friend. It did not disappoint. A bit outside the historical center in what looked like a working class neighbourhood. We came early, since we didn't have a reservation, and the place was packing within 1/2 hour. The...choices on the menu of the day, written on the wall. Wine selection easy - red or white - don't ask for a wine list. Everything super tasty and great value. We went all-in with antipasta, prima, secunda and dolce (sorry for spelling), and enjoyed it all, Atmosphere was great and the staff fun with attitude. Would go back anytime in Bologna.More
Best lasagne in Bologna and very good tiramisu! I will here return for sure! My recomendations! You have ti visit this places, if you want good food!
You certainly feel like a local there! Great food in really reasonable prices great pasta. You can enjoy local cuisine. The stuff was very friendly.
this is my favourite trattoria in bologna, nothing fancy but a great atmoshpere and solid, well prepared meals. that "rough" touch makes me going crazy every time I get there. Highly recommended by a local!
