Fantastic patio lunch on the main street! Amazingly light fish and chips, beautiful prawns and caesar salad and a cool crisp house white wine. Watch the tourist parade and experience the beauty of Riomaggiore.

Staff was extremely rude and so grumpy we left after a few minutes. I completely understand they may be tired after a very busy high season, but I've never been treated like this before. Will definitely not come back!
We came here after being ridiculed in Ber Zorza for asking for a decaf and pronouncing the name of an Italian brandy wrongly. Here, ther staff listened, brought us the brandy we wanted, and a decaf, and were utterly lovely. Come here not Bar Zorza.
Had the spaghetti vongole. Pasta undercooked and not al dente. No use of herbs or seasoning. Small amount of clams. Very poor value. Taking advantage of tourists.
Average meal and to the cost it’s too expensive compared with quality. We got there different pastas that all needed flavour and salt, but ok. The frittata mista was fine and Wine tastes well. Speed of service was okay, but compared to the Price it’s...not worth it. We are at a turist site, so didn’t expect any different.More
The best meal in Italy so far. Antipasto was delicious. Lemon Anchovies we’re fantastic. Amazing fish pasta. All four of us very much enjoyed our visit. Excellent food, good prices for location. Efficient service & fun environment on a busy day.
The service, food, and atmosphere were excellent. The owner and staff all work together well. They are there to serve great food and drink.
Very expensive (8 euros for a toast and coffee) and not the most friendly or efficient staff. I waited over ten minutes for my cutlery and when waitress remembered to bring it, I had already finished my breakfast. Definitely not worth it a visit!
After a long day of traveling from Boston (USA), we arrived at 8:30 after being up for well over 26 hours. we had the best welcoming dinner. Anchovy pasta was excellent, and thi night was capped off with local limoncello. And the gelato from next...door was perfect! The owner (Ignazio?) and our excellent server (whose name I can't remember) were both etertaining. Other than one other couple, we closed down the place, and will have fond memories of our dinner. Grazie!More
Happy I didn’t read the negative reviews before going here. Having been pasta’d out for the last 5 nights we were looking for a menu that had some alternatives. Started with melon and prosciutto which was very nice. Followed by Fritto Misto which was excellent...the anchovies being the highlight. Partners salmon carpaccio was also very good. Drinks were doubles and very strong. Our lovely girl waiter was very knowledgeable although at times the service was slow it was acceptable. Overall a very pleasant experience that belies its negative reviewsMore
When asked if the establishment had anything vegan we were told no. When asked if they could make anything vegan an Italian menu was handed to us. Encountered two staff members and both were so rude it wouldn’t matter if they vegan options, we wouldn’t...give them our business. Would avoid this place and go where you are treated better as a paying customer.More
My partner and I had dinner in this restaurant. The service was very poor and unwelcoming. The portions were very small, the food was bad and incredibly expensive. This restaurant is an absolute waste of money and not recommendable!
We stopped here for a drink and we’re so impressed with the friendliness and enthusiasm of the staff. The young gentleman that served us spoke excellent English and was so helpful. And they serve a banana split! My husband reports the draft lager was excellent.
When me and my family (4 people) arrived, there were only 2 people in front of us in the line. When they were seated, we expected to be seated next. To our surprise, a couple arrived after us and we’re seated in a table where...4 people could have seated. We made a small comment about it and continued to wait for our table. A few minutes later a group of 7 people arrived, once again the waitress prioritized them, disrespecting the arrival times and squished them in a table of 4 people. We kindly reminded the waitress that we were in line first. Which truly didn’t bother her. A few minutes later the owner of the bar came up to us and said we would be seated shortly. Finally we were seated 45 minutes after this. The pasta wasn’t fresh or exceptional. Overall it wasn’t a good experience and I don’t recommend it at all.More
The salt and pepper was good. The rest was bad. The salt and pepper was good. The rest was bad. The salt and pepper was good. The rest was bad.
