Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had the misfortune to drop in here for a quick drink on the way home from the football. Awful decor (1960s) and the solitary toilet was a hell hole. Any ladies needing the toilet might want to think again.! Food overly pricey ad 6E for...a can of Fanta….daylight robbery. Give it a swerve.More

This is NOTHING like an English pub. The only thing they have in common is a that it has four walls and a door. The music was dire, the selection of beers was poor, the staff were unfriendly and actively ignored you if you wanted...to speak to them, even after the bar man has clearly ripped you off. We stayed for one drink and that was one too many. DO NOT GO HERE.More

The only way this is like an English pub is the fact they sell alcohol. Absolutely ghastly interior and staff were pretty ignorant. Constant hard rock music was being blared out of the speakers and I could barely hear myself think. Didn’t stay for more...than one drink!More

Very horrible place. Definitely worst kitsch interiors ever, unpleasant staff, super low quality cuisine and....beers are really terrible, mainly the artisanal ones. Avoid this place.

This English-style pub has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. It is quite popular in the evenings. The prices as typical for this type of pub. It shows major sport on the big screen.

I just loved this Pub! It really looks like a real English Pub! They have a wide variety of beers (including some great Belgian ones) and a menu with typical English dishes; I went for the gammon with egg and chips and it was very...nice; a bit thinner than the typical English gammon, yet I did enjoy it! Next time I'll try fish&chips:) the Staff are friendly and kind, the atmosphere is great and, last but not least, they show football live on a huge screen and have live music too on the first Wednesday of every month! Can't wait to go there again!;)More

This was a good every day type place for meeting up. ...but in rough area. There is this year a noticeable difference. Do not expect to be welcomed or served in anything like a courteous of friendly manner. I have watched people being dealt with in...an off hand almost rude manner. When it comes to watching sport do NOT expect to watch the game that they advertise. They will change it to suit themselves or their regulars. Pity as it was worth driving across town for. Not any more.More

Old Fox Pub is used frequently for Meetup mainly for those that want to speak English. So those who a want to speak English or catch rugby games should come here. On happy hour nights (Thursday from 6pm) the bar serves a pint of Carlsberg...for only €3!More

I used to go to this pub for years. It was a real local pub for me. Drinks were relatively cheap for Milan (mainly beer and wine) and food was nice (great selection of panini). The staff was friendly and it was a good place...were you could watc football. Now things seems to have changed a lot, especially in terms of food and service. The panini were not good at all and the waiter (who is also one of the owners) was really rude. I doubt I would go back again!More

This pub in Piazza Sant'Agostino is in a rough area of milan. What shocked me was the toilet. Maybe guys are ok with peeing in the ground but not if you are a woman. Don't go there. I left after one drink due to the...toilet being "a hole in the ground", turned right and went to a pub/cafe nearby called "Vanny Bar", asked if i could use the toilet the woman said ok. Came out and left with my friend - a few minutes later the woman came running up the street after to us and was screaming and shouting and demanding that we go back. She was a complete nutter - by law italien restaurant/bars are meant to allow u use the facilities without being a customer - we grabbed the next available cab and go the hell out of this very scary area of Milan.More

The Old Fox is a pleasant surprise in a city where many clubs are more appearance than substance. The manager has a very unique style, being very open to talk to any customer in a friendly and very direct way. He knows beer and he...also produce his own brand which is distributed in the pub, along with some of the finest brands (commercial and niche) available on the market. This is a must stop in Milan, and keep an open attitude in order to enjoy completely the easy going style of the place.More
