Just called in on the off chance, met by an elegant Italian beauty who found us a table. A stunningly lavish and richly decorated room, with white crisp table cloths, tall dark smart classical Italian waiters beautifully designed tableware and cutlery. This place was a total find. The decor was wonderful and the service excellent. The food was the best we have had just about anywhere and certainly the best in Sardinia. We stayed 3 nights in Alghero in January 09, and ate in this restaurant on the second night. Its a classy joint, and the service was impeccable, if a little haughty. However the food was excellent!
