I booked dinner here on recommendation of work colleague who had been taken here by locals. Forgot our Italian phrasebook (there is no English menu version), but waiter was wonderfully helpful with fluent English and good recommendations for food and wine. Great ambience. My husband and I tracked down this restaurant from a tip listed in bon appetit magazine . Although the meal was good...some really good pasta the service was so unfriendly. They asked if we had reservations and we did not so we got a table in the very very back of the restaurant packed like a sardine in a corner.... more

Best food we had in our 4 days trip to Italy. Best Crespelle a la Fiorentina I have ever had... We had appetizer, first, entree, wine of the house, water, and dessert for 2, for less than 70 euros. The service was great. Reservatons recommended! more

The setting was quite nice and we had a really nice waiter,who even replaced our wine since it was not good and gave us a recommendation on wines that were excellent and inexpensive. The pasta was ok but not anything to die for.Be careful when you order Bistecca Florentina,it is huge so maybe skip the appetizer and share the steak. more
