Teeny-tiny cafe near the entrance to the Sant’Ambrogio market, which did a lovely coffee and pastry, and where you could enjoy the vibe of this Florentine neighbourhood. Would definitely recommend!

This is a small little restaurant in a beautiful location, it doesn’t feel touristy and has wonderful staff and food. Very decently priced considering other places and has a lovely cafe chilled local vibe about it. I would highly recommend it if you are looking...for a local cafe in the heart of Florence.More
Dear Lovestrave, Thank you very much for your positive review about your experience at the Caffè Cibrèo. I'm happy to know you enjoyed both the food and our service and I hope to welcome you very soon for another pleasurable meal. Kindest regards. Giulio Picchi
Cibreo appears to have taken over an entire corner of Florence with a variety of eateries from restaurant to bistro to cafe. On Mondays only the caffe is open and this is where we ended up, although we had wanted to eat at the restaurant....The staff are utterly charming and focussed on customers. Start with a drink outside. Good cocktails expertly mixed accompanied by delightful snacks. We went inside for dinner. The atmosphere is wonderful. The menu carries some imaginative dishes. The staff really want you to enjoy the food and are deeply solicitous. The pasta is excellent. The second courses are possibly a little more middling- not bad but nothing to write home about. We shared a cheesecake topped with marmalade for pudding and this was very good. I want to return to try other eateries in the Cibreo colony to compare and contrast!More
Dear Jane, Thank you very much for your review! What could we have improved to get 5 stars? We hope to welcome you soon in all of our restaurants, Best regards, Team Cibrèo

This was an outstanding culinary experience exceeded only by our server Albert. He is a professional you would find at high end restaurants in NY, Paris, or Rome. My wife had Tuna, me red snapper, both cooked perfectly. We split the 1st course cacio e...Pepe pasta which was excellent. It was a fantastic experience but no question Albert made it special.More
Dear MG753437, Thank you! We value the positive review and are happy to hear that you enjoyed our gastronomic proposal and the charming atmosphere. Best regards, Team Cibrèo
We loved this smaller cafe with available patio dining. The service was outstanding and the food matched it. We Started with a nice selection of Italian wines by the glass. The bread and olive oil for dipping was delicious . We had the ham baked...in the oven and the steak tartare to start. For entrees we loved the pastas. The tagliolini cacio e burro, and the pasta with the rags were divine. The bistecca was easily shareable. Definitely worth a visitMore
Dear Notula, Thank you very much for your words. Looking forward to welcoming you soon! Best regards, Team Cibrèo
The literal only negative thing was sitting outside because there were so many reservations! Service (even when mistakes were made) was excellent.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us! Best regards, Giulio Picchi
When Cibrèo Trattoria was fully booked, I was offered a space at the Caffè instead. I have no complaints nor regrets. The food was typical of a florentine trattoria and placed emphasis on the quality of the ingredients. I began with the mixed antipasti before...a primo of preserved tuna pasta, and a secondo of the bistecca Livornese. Each course provided a unique flavour and felt ordinary to the region. I will certainly be coming back.More

Dear Franckske, Thank you! We value the positive review and are happy to hear that you enjoyed our gastronomic proposal and the charming atmosphere. Best regards, Giulio Picchi
Located on the peripheries of the central city, this cafe and adjoining restaurant of the same name cater to the local neighborhood and consequently have a friendlier and easier vibe. Like most Italian places, this cafe is not going to move at American speeds, so...if that's a requirement, you should look elsewhere. It's a cafe, so the food is good, but not awesome, the wine list conventional, but not stellar, all of which is perfect for a mid-afternoon sit, sip, and stare.More

Was suggested by landlord. Staff not very friendly. Pleasant small sitting area. Sandwiches are mediocre. Personally I would go to Ditta Artigianale & Hario Cafe Sant' Ambrogio just 50 meters away for much fresher breads .
This Place Took Us by surprise , we went there with little to no expectations but we’re overwhelmed by how great it was , everything was top notch , including their Bistecca Florintine which rivals those of a proper steak house establishmentsMore
