Dined there with a visiting friend from abroad. The salad was fresh and filled with a great variety of ingredients. The lamb rack was very tender and tasty indeed. My friend had the locally-produced beef steak and raved about it. Good wine list also a plus. I would definitely recommend.

Great staff, great food, good wine list - this doesn't come cheap in Switzerland. Still at Metzgerstübli you pay for quality and great service rather than the name on the door. The staff really know their trade, the wine list is fantastic too. We would recommend it to anyone - a real hidden gem of Swiss gastronomic culture.
