Probably the worst dinner we had in Geneva, we missed food from home so we asked for the best Thai restaurant in town. First the prices were crazy and the portions quite small and the taste of the food was not authentic at all. We were very disappointed. more
Good service and crews but quite expensive, reasonable because of the nice location, ambiance.... I would recommend it to tourist especially those who loves spicy foods. more
I have discovered late this best Thai cusine restaurant of Geneva. Superb menu with excellent service. more
Thai food is nice, but not very authentic, and the atmosphere is also not so authentic. However prices are reasonable for Geneva standards and service is impeccable. more
It is not so bad! the food is fresh. and it is quet during the week. I would recomend it for romantic lunch or dinner. more
the food may be fine, but what kind of waiters! we got ripped off while paying!!! be careful when you pay in cash; the waiter claimed we had given him only 350CHF but we actually had paid 400CHF. we didn't get our change back... reminds me of the tourist restaurants in bangkok!! and this should be a gault millau restaurant!... more
The scope of my writing is not to get into an argument about the comment ,even though it is quite arbitrary. After all it is the customer's word against ours. Patara Geneva has been succesful for the past ten years and I doubt it would be with this kind of practice. Furthermore, I have personnally been going to Thailand since...
I would say Patara was fine. I was alone - so I didn't linger. The service was good and attentive without hovering. My meal was good - though not the spicy Thai dish I was hoping for. That was my fault, I'm sure. The biggest surprise was the cost. The bill was about $80 US for my meal - and... more
