Our taxi came bit too early so we were like 10 minutes too early. The restaurant was still closed but with a buzz on their doorbell we were welcomed in from the cold - a very nice gesture. As we had a really late lunch that day,we couldn't take their 6 or even 4-course set menu. "Not to worry," we... More

We decided to go to this restaurant, based on TripAdvisor, and were not disappointed. Last night - a Saturday in January, I phoned at 7.30 pm and was lucky to get a cancellation for 8pm, their last available table for the night! There were just two menu options: 4 courses for €54 or 6 courses for €64; we opted for... More

We truly enjoyed this restaurant and service could not have been better. However, I do want to provide this travel tip.... the menu can very limited, so it would be smart to call ahead and ask what they plan to serve that evening. For example, my wife does not enjoy rabbit and fois gras. Unfortunately, the night we went if... More

We made a reservation well in advance for New Year's Day and from the moment of our first enquiry to our departure, we were treated wonderfully by the restaurant owners. Upon arrival we were given a choice of tables and chose a lovely table situated in an alcove. The service from start to finish was attentive, courteous and charming. We... More

All I can say is amazing, from when we arrived at 8.00pm on Christmas day, to a warm friendly intimate atmosphere, to be greeted and our coats taken, seated without any fuss, we were asked which menu we would like to have and of course it was the 6 course version with wines (they were paired so beautifully with each... A choice of four or six courses with accompanying wine chosen to match the food. Perfectly presented. Service cannot be faulted. Three course fixed menu also available ( didn't try but looked fine). Closed Wednesdays. May need to book though we didn't for a Thursday. More

We picked this restaurant from Trip Advisor because, although not one of the top restaurants, the menu seemed exciting and sensibly priced. We were not disappointed. This was food prepared with pride and adventure. Delicious sauces meant that one felt satisfied not stuffed. Made to feel like old friends. They know their food and they know their wine. This is... We visited this restaurant last sunday and it was a positive experience. The service was good and our glases where always filled. The food was of an oustanding quality. It was worth every euro. This restaurant diserves its' place in the Guide Michelin. More

Reservation was made based on trip advisor reviews. We arrived at 8pm on a truly wet & miserable night. The resturant was empty, which would usually have sent alarm bells ringing! However, it was like having a private dining experience. Quality of food, service & personal attention was exquisite. Also introduced to a new gin as recommend by Frankie-made with... More
