This restaurant focuses mainly on sea food, we tried the swordfish house style and the seabass both dishes were well presented and of a high standard, a complimentary glass of fizzy wine was served prior to starter. The waiter / owner was rushed off his feet and would benefit from some help, however this did not take anything away from... more

After reading good reviews we decided to try Sao Gonzalo. Food was average and so was the service. Nothing special about the steak I had. It was not bad, but it lacked imagination. There are better restaurants in Lagos. more

The steak served on a hot stone, cooks on your table, so you can have it as well done or rare as you like. Great service and atmosphere makes this one of the best restaurants in Lagos. more

We go to Lagos at least 3 times a year and have walked past this restaurant everytime but have never dined there until this last visit in April. Boy what have we been missing, the food is to die for, so tasy and the steaks are cooked in front of you so you can see just what is being added... more

It is an unpretentious, reasonably priced traditional restaurant with a nautical theme.
