I have to say I had a good experience, with some innovation in the traditional portuguese food which I welcome, and a bad experience with how that innovation just made one of the most basic pearls of portuguese cusine worst... plus 45min between starter and main.

Went there for dinner for my birthday. Ordered the octopus dish which tasted soooo good! The place is trendy and has a nice view over the river. Good value for money!

Location of this restaurant is probably its best asset. Although not on the tourist thoroughfare it offers lovely views. Food was mediocre at best. Tempura was served without condiment of any description! No daikon pickled ginger ! Nothing! main of turbot was acceptable! Staff were efficient but unfriendly. Bellini was poor. Bar man eating constantly! Decor jaded and in need... More

We booked for a birthday celebration (for which I ordered a cake which they beautifully made & presented) & wondered what it'd be like. You have to find it first even if dropped off as the restaurant is hidden behind a large wall to the front car park opposite the side entrance of Appolonia station. On arrival in this large,... More

Beautifully designed harbour restaurant. Considering its celebrity links (John Malcovich a co-owner, the Spanish film director Pedro Almodovar a client), this restaurant is not bad value, particularly by London standards (the average price for a main course is 20 Euros). Food was tasty and the service was friendly.

Bica do Sapato is a really trendy restaurant! I love its decoration and big space ! As enjoyable for groups as for romantic couples. Here you can find a portuguese traditional meal with a modern twist. A bit expensive for everyday but well worth for celebrations and special days.

I just acknowledge the great job of public relations made for this restaurant. Is a huge place full of people looking to be seen. Ordinary food. Service not bad. I don't recommend this restaurant for foodies. It is just for people looking for a trendy place... Nothing else. Puro trabajo de relaciones publicas. Lleno de gente buscando ser vistos por... More

First, the location is maybe the best part and the worst part...the driver dropped us off and it looks like a run down warehouse that we may get robbed at but upon entering the restaurant, wow very sleek and modern. We were seated immediately at a window table and admired the view of the water. We ordered a bottle of... More

Deign restaurant with a "touch" from the seventies. The location is great right on the Tagus river and the terrace is wonderful when the weather is nice (which happens often in Lisbon). Great "revisited" portuguese food cooked, often in an original way. Very nice atmosphere both for lunch an dinner. A must when in Lisbon

The two main courses of Bacalhau we ordered were good. One of them was a little burned outside, but the cook explained that the piece of cod was big so, in order to cook inside, it may burn outside. There are always two or three good recommended wines for a reasonable price. The mango ice cream is great.
