This was undoubtedly the best meal we had while in Madeira, perhaps anywhere! Although the menu was very small (perhaps too small) the food was divine. A small but perfectly formed menu with excellent food. I realised the food to follow was going to be excellent when the small couverts arrived. The carrots and mushrooms were just to die for. This is a fantasctic restaurant. I have been visiting Madeira for the past 7 years and have never found food as good as this. Great service and beautiful wine. This restaurant is located literally opposite the Petana Grand Hotel, Funchal on the road up to the Forum. We have a holiday apartment in Funchal and this is one of our favourite places.
