And a really great variety, recommended for a tasty lunchtime snack between seeing the sights. I had cheese with courgette and aubergine, very tasty. Good English spoken too.

I don't know why this is classified as a restaurant, it's really a bakery specialising in pies. Its cheese pie is famous in athens, and it's so popular that fresh batches are coming out of the oven continuously, so most of the time you get a still warm one. I don't think I've ever tried anything other than the cheese...

Tasty and various tyropita for every palate: we try chicken and spinach, and was a wonderful experience. Nice place, old style and typical. If you go to Athens, you can't depart without taste Ariston's tyropita!
A local recommended this place to me because that is where she always went when she was a child. I had a regular cheese pie. It was a good snack. There is no place to sit down, so keep that in mind when you go.
Centrally located, serves freshly baked traditional pitas. My choice is the zuchini-feta-aubergine one
The best kasseri pita ever! Loved this place. If kasseri cheese is not your thing, there are many other pies to choose from.
The best place for a snack in the city centre!
"Ariston" in greek means perfect and this is the place that you can have a perfect pie in the city centre. They make pies in this place for more than 100 years now and definitely it is one of the musts in your city tour.
The prices are not that...

I have known Ariston pies for the last 35 years and whenever I visit Athens I always pass from there. Still cheap with the same taste and quality!
We decided to go after all the reviews but didn't find anything special about it. It is cheap but you get what you pay for. The bread was a bit stale and nothing was great.
