Call me a philistine if you like, or even a hypocrit - I ate there and paid the prices charged after all - but anyone who reviews the Kong Hans and describes it as anything but overpriced pomp is frankly delusional (or has more money than sense at any rate). Visited in September 2009. We were looking for a Michelin-star restaurant since we had heard there were good ones in Copenhagen and this was recommended. We only managed to get in because there had been a cancellation. All of the restaurants were booked out at least 2-3 weeks. The atmosphere is incredible and the service was impeccable. Nice food but way too overpriced - and some weird choises like spaghetti bolognese with fois grois (what's up with that??) - wine list prices are a rip off! more
