Ate here once with my sister, and we have a coupon for 10% off from the Visitors Guide. Food was delicious, especially the pizzas and the wine was good value too. more

We ate here on a Friday night, it was busy and we had to wait 5 mins in a nice seating area. There was a great atmosphere with live music (guitar player). Free bread and tap water. I had seafood pasta with the largest mussels I have ever seen! My husband had a pepperoni pizza and an amazing chocolate dessert... more

We arrived in Reykjavik on a cold night with snow blowing around and venturing out on our first night to find dinner, Caruso's looked very welcoming. The atmosphere had the pleasant buzz of conversation but it wasn't noisy in there. Service was good and so was the food. Being tired from travelling, we just went for a plate of pasta... more

I ate at Caruso on the evening before the Marathon (choosing a pasta for the energy buildup). Not fancy or pretentious but in a neat old house on one of the main shopping streets of Reykjavik. Quite crowded but no problem getting a table. Not Spago or Wolfgang Puci's but then again, you don't expect Gordon Ramsay food at Caruso... more

This spot in Reykjavik's main shopping district was nothing special. The food was good but not the best I had in the city. In a city with so many excellent restaurants, this place didn't stand out. The upstairs dining rooms are the best places to sit, especially by the windows overlooking Laugavegur. It's best to come for a beer or... more

Carusos is set in a lovely old building on the main street, with friendly staff and a good menu. Wood fired pizzas cost around 2000 Kr. There's an extensive menu which goes far beyond pizza. more

Comfortable, relaxed and friendly Italian with great food and excellent cocktails and exemplary service from the soft seating area to the resturant itself. The local tourist pamplets have 10% off deals for every night. As it's not the cheapest option in town this is a worthwhile saving. We pushed the "boat out" and blew £50 a head. You could get... more

Caruso has been around for a long time. It has an old-fashioned quality and the food is reasonably good. I like this restaurant for lunch where you can enjoy a plate of pasta or salad or sandwich. This is not a special occasion restaurant like Seafood Cellar or The Fish Market, but the food is hearty and wholesome and is... more

Caruso was nicely decorated and staff were very attentive and friendly. Two of us ordered the famous seafood pasta (which was loaded with fresh seafood and the portion was good enough for two person) and a pizza. We ordered the garlic bread as well but not knowing that the restaurant indeed offered free bread with butter if you did not... more

Ate there a few weeks ago. The food was bland and forgettable. The atmosphere is nice. I woundt go there for a special night out, or a pizza for that matter. I think the best pizza place on the main street is Italia. more
