I don't like raw fish, but we went with the Black Tasting Menu and I loved the raw fish. Everything we ate was fantastic, I'd go here again for sure. Probably the highlight of the trip. And that cost 595 NOK. more

We ordered a black menu for about USD 90 and got great sashimi, nigiri, makis and lobster. Tried halibut, sword fish, and whale shashimi for the first time. Wine was dry and lovely. Service great. I absolutely loved it. We also had high quality shrimp and king krab makis each for about USD 15-18. Truly enjoyed it Highly recommend it more
They say Alex Sushi is the best sushi restaurant in Oslo. I agree. Note: You can take the menu with you when you leave, to know what to order next time. more

This is not the kind of sushi place where the dishes come down a conveyor belt, and you come for the sole purpose of stuffing your gob with hastily made sushi.
