I though the general ambience was very good and it looks very nice in terms of the decor. The food was nicely presented, but we only had the offer menu so they were quite small portions. I'd be prepared to go back and try things from the proper menu. I gave a 'very good' rating but this was more due... More

The service was friendly and efficient and it's a great place for something different. Krakow worked hard to give us quality food with flavours we enjoyed. A number of dishes were new to us. The cafe restaurant is cosy, nicely decorated with a good atmosphere. There were about a dozen of us from our company who decided that eating Christmas... More

we expected European food, but found a lot of eastern european food. The two are not one and the same. The food was presented very well but tasted rather uninteresting. The dessert was better. Glad we tried it, not sure if we will be visiting again. More

Nothing was to much trouble, food was a delightful authentic mix of eastern European dishes that were wonderful and served with a friendly smile. Krakow was a very cosy bistro style restaurant that we will definitely visit again and would strongly recommend worth trying. More

A lovely cosy, intimate, contemporary restaurant serving a different european menu not offered elsewhere in town. Run by Marzena, she takes pride in the menu and explains in detail the new dishes on offer. The food is cooked fresh so gives you time between courses to enjoy the wine and good conversation. Will definately be going back. More

Having read the great reviews on Tripadviser, my fiancée and I thought we would give Krakow a try. Having looked at the restaurant website, we were really excited by the menu, albeit it did look quite pricey for a newish, small restaurant in Bedford. We noticed the 2 course mid-week menu for £10 on the website, and not having tried... More

On a short visit to England we checked out tripadviser as to good restaurants in Bedford, and they did not let us down! We went to Krakow's, a very short walk from the Bedford Blues Rugby grounds. All seven of us had a fine selection of authentic Polish dishes and a potato dish very similar to Irish "boxty", it brought... More

I am a Pole myself (Poznan) and must say, that the quality of all the dishes was very good and traditional polish flavors is what you get there. I brought my wife there with one British colleague and two Japanese visitors. They were photographing every dish and on the next day I have received thank emails from them, for they... More

Uncharitably, we expected little of Bedford by way of dining experiences; we were just passing through. Having read a review of Krakow, we reserved a table and were then half an hour late through no fault of our own (traffic gridlock). No problem - the rest of the world was late as well. As well as our food and drink... More

Everything about this restaurant is just great: arty deco with ethnic touches , trendy colour-schemes, warm and intimate atmosphere, fantastic food at reasonnable prices and most importantly the spontaneous and friendly welcome from the owner.. A pure gem... you'll want to linger at Krakow. More
