We go to Argento on a fairly regular basis. It is my boyfriends favorite restaurant and is very reasonable in price considering the quality of the steak. The owner isalways very welcoming and helpful with wine choices. It has a great atmosphere with argentinian collectables on the walls without going over the top. If you don't like steak...this is not the place for you. A little pricing but the Japanese style hot-rocks to cook you meal on is great fun. more

This was the first time we have been to Argento and it was a most pleasurable experience. The welcome was warm and friendly. The service was attentive and timely. The food quality was quite outstanding and the wine recommendation was spot on. We will be returning and cannot speak highly enough of the entire experience. more

I had dinner in Argento last night for the second time and I have to say I wish I had discovered this place before The food was fantastic and although some reviews say it's expensive I would disagree. Good food, good service, melt in your mouth steak and just the right amount of food!! not the cheapest of restaurants but worth every penny. early bird special is before 6.30pm in the week and what i had was a steak with 2 other pieces of meat (chicken) which was cooked perfectly with home made wedges and salad for £13.... more

Everything was fine - food, service, wine, atmosphere. We won't be returning for one reason - too expensive for what it is. Adding 10% service charge on is annoying and makes matters worse. Personally I'm not keen on char-grilled steak either but that's a matter of taste. more

Visited Argento whilst staying the night in Huddersfield. This was the best steak we have ever tasted ( we are very fussy about our food, believe me). The surroundings are fab.
