My friends and I went to Red Fort last weekend for a spur of the moment indian and without shadow of a doubt had a brilliant evening there. The food was top notch and was prepared to our individual tastes. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and were charming and polite. Unlike most curry houses that... more

Visited Red Fort Wolverhampton for a birthday treat! Have to say we were extremely disappointed, and hungry when we left! We booked a table for 4 at the Red Fort, and were informed that there was entertainment on that evening. We had not been sat down for 1/2 hr and the entertainment left......! On the food front, our starters were... more

We went to Red Fort, a party of 12 people, to celebrate my husbands birthday. We opted for buffet, which variety wise on the starters was a disgrace. The service was awful, we had to ask for a glass of water in our drinks order 3 times before it eventually arrived, plates were not cleared off the table unless requested.... more

Went there after a trade show along with about 60 other people... food was pretty good and so was the atmosphere… the live music was a little loud though... apart from that it was great more

This restaurant consistently is poor in its client service and level of appreciation for their requirements. On the three occasions I have been, service has been poor, wine served too warm, and complaints poorly managed. Whilst the meals are not poor, being made to wait for your prebooked table is irritating. Coupled with this when the restaurant is not full... more

A couple of weeks ago me and a few friends decided to go to Red Fort for lunch...you can only take so much maccies and subway. £6.95 for a 3 course lunch. I had chicken korma for main course with garli naan which was really nice. Nice service, nice food, nice people!. My mates had fun too! Now we're gonna... more

Management response from
joyti88, owner

I was the Manager on the night in question and this lady was told about the special Valentine's menu when she booked at 13:00 on the actual day. Although we were full we managed to get her a last minute table. The restaurant was full and the temperature is controlled electronically by our climate control and is always around 24...

The food is pretty good, not brilliant, but still pretty good. The staff are charming, and the Indian cabaret on Saturday nights is good fun. You can have a thoroughly enjoyable evening here. The decor is tasteless yet amusing. more

What a great place in the heart of Wolverhampton. We had a fantastic night at the Theatre and ended up going the Red Fort because it was opposite the free car park. Its probably the most lavishly decorated Indian restaurant we have ever seen. The food was very distinctly Punjabi and the service was second to none. The prices compared... more

This place has clearly managed to do a lot of advertising, hence attracting customers. Unfortunately it is rather disappointing. Service -terrible. Food- distinctly average, the lamb was not very nice and the one of us who went for the safe chicken tikka masala was also pretty shocked- lots of cream no taste. The food is very overpriced for what it... more
