Food was lovely and very tasty cocktails but felt the guy who works there wasvery in your face and smoothering, constantly asking us questions and stood really close. Put us going back there again I'm afraid. A shame as it's rather cosy in there. More

Velvet and Vanilla is a warm, confortable cafe with a difference, you don't feel rushed to leave as soon as you've finished your drink and can just chill using the wifi or just browsing through a magazine and always feel welcome. A great place to go and hang out with excellent food. More

We had cheese and tuna toasty and stilton and walnut scone, came with tasty side salad. Really enjoyed and then wonderfully delicious carrot cake! Cosy, comfortable, vintage inspired feel, and free wifi! Service quick, friendly and helpful. Atmosphere slightly spoilt by loud lady in table next to ours, obviously can't be helped and when she went, our equilibrium was restored! More
