My husband and I ate here on our honeymoon and had a glorious meal. I'm surprised to see bad reviews but everyone has their own criteria. We had the best gnocchi I've ever had served with eggplant, clams, mussels, shrimp, tomatoes, basil, garlic & oil. The sauce was wonderful and the gnocchi themselves were lighter than air. Just wonderful. We... more

We had a lovely morning sat by the beach,The restaurants on the front didn't have the dish that we wanted, so we headed back up the hill to try and find a restaurant. Halfway back to the car having found plenty of shops but no food hungry children were having a sense of humour failure, so we asked in a... more

We ate at Bruno while in Positano because we had seen it recommended in Rick Steve's book and also on Tripadvisor. It was horrible. The food was bland, the service was horrible, and the price was high. I don't mind spending money on a great meal, but this was a huge disappointment. Maybe it was an off night for Bruno,... more

We saw this restaurant recommended in Rick Steves' book and we decided to try it out. Not sure if it was just an off night, but the service was terrible and the food was not good at all! We were extremely disappointed in our meals and would never recommend this place to anyone! more

We went to Bruno based on a local's recommendation. The restaurant is high up so has stunning views. There are tables alongside the most amazing view. The restaurant is small and cosy and very romantic. The food was beautiful, but not the best meal I had in Positano. We made a booking and the table was not ready when we... more

On our first night in Positano we ended up at Bruno as it was just next door to our hotel Villa Rosa. We managed to get a table with a beatiful view over Positano and the sea. You are sitting on the shoulder of the road and people almost bump in to you, but it does not ruin the experience.... more

We loved this place, came on it by chance but the food was amazing. Home made pasta is my favourite and the seafood AMAZING. I'd go here again and again if I could. The view is so wonderful and the sunset set gorgeous. Good selection of wine and the menu sounded great, we had the tirramisu it was delicious! I'd... more

Bruno was recommended in my Rick Steve's book and as normal, he didn't let me down. It was a delicious meal with a great view of Positano. It is slightly outside of the main part of town, but still very close to the center, and well worth the short extra walk. My husband and I shared all the dishes and... more

Not much to say about Ristorante Bruno. We stopped here with my family because it was right up the street from Villa Rosa and my grandmother's maiden name is Bruno. Had no reservations, so initially were seated inside, but managed to get an outdoor table before we were served. The view was very nice. From what I remember, service was... more

My husband and I were in Positano for three nights in June and had planned to eat at Bruno for the first night. I had seen it mentioned by person who took a Rick Steve's tour. Little did we know it was literally next door to our hotel (Albergo California). We waited for a table right on the street which... more
