One of two really good Fish & Chip shops in Bushmills. Always busy. Great value. Good food and lots of it.
I'm not a fan of fish, though my family are, but I do like my chips. :-) Food was cooked fresh, portions are generous, staff are friendly, and the chips were probably the best chips I've had in my life. (The fish, scampi, sausages and chicken also went down well). Can't ask more for a chippie!
I've wrote this review out a few times and keep going back and deleting what I have written down. I walked through the door and felt like i had 10 heads. The staff just starred me out as if the were shocked someone was looking to order. Poor selection on the menu and is overpriced. Whilst waiting on my food... More
This place was recommended to us by a relative, and didn't disappoint. Sure the fish was greasy - aren't all great fish 'n chips? - but it was definitely the quality we used to get from fish 'n chip places when were growing up. Finger-lickin' delicious! And the portions were amazing. We were able to share two orders (one cod... More
holidaying at the giants causeway we tried this wee fish and chip shop and found it hard to beat in the area, the variety of food we tried was , chicken, fish, onion rings, chicken nuggets, and chips, and each time the food was excellent, and very generous portions as well, most fish and chip shops nowadays serve greasy tasteless... Lovely food, beautiful fish (the biggest I've ever seen from a chippy!) and generous portions of chips.
The fish and chips were terrible. It was just like we drink from the frying pan, pure fat. We had a little bit and throw it away.
Having been a regular at Flash in the Pan it has gone downhill recently. On the last two visits the chips have been inedible and greatly reduced portion size. It's almost as if they were cooked the day before and reheated. I know this isn't the case as the venue has been busy. I'm not sure that I'll give it... More
After a long day out enjoying the North Coast we stopped at t e Flash in the Pan .the shop is spotless, the staff are very helpful and their fish and chips are excellent and value for money. If you have never tried this shop you will not be disappointed.
After a long day in the car driving up the coastal road from Belfast and stopping at Carrick-a Rede rope bridge, we were tired and starving. We stopped at a pub in downtown Bushmills to find they didn't serve food. They recommended we pop across the street to The Flash in the Pan to get some carryout we could bring... More
