We went to The Folk Park and were really lucky with the weather. After spending few hours walking we thought it would be nice to eat outside at Nelly's. We worried that because it's a touristy place, they may not pay too much attention to their food. Having thought that, we just went for traditional and safe fish and chips... more

We heard good things about this pub from others who had been here. We found it to be a bit less than the other pubs we had been to in Ireland. more

Myself and my husband went there for dinner and drinks on a Saturday night. The upstairs (which looked nicer) was full so we ate in the back restaurant behind the bar. It was dark and dank. The waitresses were all behind the bar and only came to talk to us when we were clearly just going to stand there. The... more

Clearly Durty Nellies has had too much easy trade through the years. Its proximity to Bunratty castle has given it the benefit of visitor trade and tour buses. This place is grimey, the food very average and expensive, the service indifferent and the music played during the day truely corney . As a message to our guests to ireland i... more

And my lord, the food was nothing short of atrocious. I had the burger, the "homemade" burger. Now I should... more

Great place to have a guiness, meet the locals, and a meal. It is not a 6 star restraunt but is quaint and cozy with local muscians coming in for a set. Great place for an evenings entertainment. more

This restaurant is located beside Bunratty Castle. They surly lived up to the name but it should be spelled DIRTY. It was the most disgusting place I have attepted to eat at. I say attempted because we left before we ordered. Dried ketchup on the tables along with a mix of crumbs from everyone who had eaten there before us.... more
