Dined downstairs as there were no seats free in the restaurant. We both ordered fillet steak at €28. We were served sirloin steak! When I asked our very good waitress about this she said it was a mistake in the kitchen. We were charged a hefty €25 for the inferior beef which neither of us would have ordered. Our free... more

Went for weekend with husband and new son. Having read previous reviews on this site I knew to try it. Was not disappointed. There was plenty of space for our pram. Staff were very accommodating. The food was delicious. Service was good if a little slow. Prices not bad- 3 course and drinks for bout €80. On the promenade and has... more

Fabulous view of the ocean and surfers-can't get any closer to the sea-food was average-it was very busy at late lunch-staff was friendly but either not attentive or not enough staff-food was not piping hot-go for the view. more

Having had a mediorce evening meal with terrible service in our hotel the previous night and an over rated chowder in another cold dreary corner of a bar at lunch time we had almost given... more

The excellent views was the best feature of Waves restaurant (upstairs from the pub). Service was appalling; we had to ask for menus and were told that a stag party in the corner were currently using them all. Potaotes arrived cold. Food looked limp looking. We requested coffee with our dessert, about 20 mins after our dessert and asking two... more

As I regular visitor to Lahinch I was excited to try out the new look O'Looneys. Views are Fantastic and surrounding contemporary and comfortable.. very nice for a few drinks or even a coffee. However, the bar food leaves a lot to be desired. The food is bland, portions are small and very overpriced. It now cost €8 for a... more
