This was probably the best experience we had for a 'real' Irish pub while on our trip. We had breakfast here our first morning when arriving and had a good meal. this bar was so welcoming and so friendly. they had a brillant trad session till all hours into the night which was so much fun. the locals were so friendly and would ask you too join in. im definitely going to be going back there. more

The receptionist at my hotel recommended I visit McGann's to enjoy some music. What a great choice! My first visit was on a Saturday night in April. It was extremely busy! McGanns Pub was the very first pub experience during our first trip to Ireland. It was off season so no music during the week, and no menu other than Seafood Chowder (which was excellent) and a Beef Stew with lots of brown bread.
