We ended up going here two out of the four nights we stayed in Doolin. It would have been all four if we had found it earlier!! Great food (the place is packed with locals and tourists), really good music, and you might get the chance to meet new people from around the world at your table! more
I traveled to Ireland with my three daughters in April of this year and we had a fantastic time at McDermott's Pub. Patsy McDermott was so inviting and a joy to converse with. The food is great and the music was wonderful. Would love to spend more time in Doolin next trip. more
We rented a house in Doolin July 2008 - had lunch in Mcdermotts - very satisfying and good value for money. If you go at night 9.30 till 12.30 - the music is something else. We promise you that you will never forget the experience of pure, live Irish music. We are cetainly going back for more this September. more
If someone would ask you to explain your love for Ireland and the Irish, take him to McDermott's pub and say no more.... more
My favorite pub in Doolin because of the layout and the great music. The food and service is very good. You will love the atmosphere more

There are 3 pubs in Doolin everyone talks about-This one is great for the food-I ate there 2 times, the beef stew is the best I have ever had in my life-The chicken salad sandwich is good too. The service was okay- but don't expect it to be like America- they do not come by to check on your every... more
