I heard so much about Gus' before actually visiting; that's it's a Canberra icon, that it has great coffee, great food etc etc. Unfortunately this place DID NOT live up to the hype. Travelling with 2 vegetarians we found Gus's Cafe on our first night and the food was so good we went back the second night! Heaps of choices for all and we loved the spicy lentil burgers; pumpkin risotto and Fetta/rocket penne. more
A iconic canberra cafe - great for people watching, grabbing a quick bite to eat a coffee or dinner with friends. I love the pesto linguini! more
We had lunch at Gus' on a Saturday and the place was packed. Thinking it would be nice to sit outside, we did. But we quickly realized that the outside tables were all taken because that's where you can smoke. The clientele appeared to be mostly college aged, and virtually all of them smoked.
