“Now OCHRE, but still excellent food, not just for tourists”

Ochre is a long standing favourite, particularly on a hot and humid day in Cairns, when it is a relief to collapse on one of the banquette seats under the airconditioning, and study the menu with its daily specials and decent wine by the glass. Both indoor and outdoor dining available. The outdoor area looks out onto Todd Mall, and offers a wonderful place to people watch. The indoor area is air conditioned, quiet,and relaxing. Intended to have a quick, good lunch. Waited for an hour for 2 small meals to be served (restaurant was half empty). The quality of the Pizza was shocking, the one of the Eggs Benedict was alright.
