This was my first stop in Brisbane 8yrs ago. The venue consumed me. Great scenic view over the Brisbane River, tasty food from a varietyful menu. Because of them I am addicted to Bridgewater Mill Sauvignon Blanc. more
The ambience, the quality of service, the presentation--it's superb-- whilst sipping only the best wine from Adelaide region and overlooking the lovely Brisbane River--what an indulgence! more
I agree with the reviewer who said the place looks like a retirement home. Totally accurate. Perhaps that explains why on a Saturday night it was the only 'top' restaurant on Eagle St Pier that wasn't booked out, in fact it was less than half full. The staff wearing name badges and uniforms add to the cruise ship / retirement... more
A casual atmosphere inside and beautiful views, delicious food- try the mix of oyster samples! more

Pier Nine's respectful treatment of oysters earns it 4 stars but I had to take one off because it needs to be refurbished, it looks like a retirement home imo more
Nice fish, but not GREAT, flaky, melt in your mouth fish which is what I expect from a restaurant of this type. Lovely to sit by the river though. more
