Very good French brasserie type food, the best we have had in Brisbane. The fact that the owner is the chef who is in the kitchen cooking is generally speaking a good omen. You will be told ahead if the bar dining is all that is available - in which case the choice is yours, go or don't. more

I've been intrigued by this place ever since I heard they don't open Saturday nights! I've never heard of a restaurant that doesn't open Saturday nights! Never a bad meal, beautiful atmosphere, highly professional service, extensive wine and apperatif list - at a very reasonable price for what it is. Book well in advance, they're so popular that they have to have TWO sittings per night (early and late). more

The food is superb. The menu options sparse. The wine list ridiculously extensive. However the wait staff are attentive and knowledgable about both winelist and menu, enough to recommend some items. Quite expensive (~$125/head) but well worth it. Would like to see a few more items on the mains. Would have liked a more specific description of some food items... more
