We come to the coast 3 times a year and have eatten at flames every time. We always have dinner there as it has a wide range of choice. I would recommened having a steak as they are the best on the coast.Hats off to the chef had knows his job down to the ground. more

We recently spent 2 weeks on the beautiful Gold Coast and stayed in the Chevron Renaissance. We had dinner at Flames on 3 seperate occasions and stopped in for a coffee (and the occasional breakfast) most mornings. The staff were extremely attentive and professional (and all spoke english). They even remembered our names when we came in the second time... more

Well, We had a fantastic meal at this restaurant, am not sure about the first review of this restaurant, but i guess u cant please all of the people all of the time! We found the staff friendly and helpful. The steak that i had (black angus) would have to be one of the best, if not the best steaks... more

The service is extremely lousy and the staff are all rude and are too busy having their own conversations to look after their customers. Only one of the staff members could speak english and communicate with their customers. The appearance of the staff left a lot to be desired. The meal well that was even worse.
