Based on a couple of recommendations and checking the reviews on Tripadvisor, we booked at Take 5 for a Saturday night. My friend and I ate here on our last night in Napier. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were fantastic. We both had lamb, which was cooked to perfection, and we wish we had had the time to make another visit here. more

I picked this restaurant out of a local guide book which I usually avoid because they tend to advertise the more "touristy" places but since it was also a jazz bar I was keen to check it out and we were not disappointed. The food is extremely tasty and presented with polish - I had the ostrich fillets and lamb rump, my partner the scallops followed by fettucine, and we would recommend all of these dishes.
