This place is in a wonderful old building, I think used to be a police station at one time. It was very busy and the ambience was great; a log fire burning away too. The food was great and the portions huge, so don’t go for the starters otherwise you won’t be able eat all your main course. more

Good, solid grub. Nothing flash and well priced. They have a good range of beers and it is very popular. The Pub is in the old Rotorua police station and they have good displays of historical items. I know it is pub and to be honest I didn't eat the food, but this was a happening place to end the evening. The live band was great as was the atmosphere. Bring your dancing shoes. more

This place has been operating a long time now. The menu is simple and changes regularly but not drastically. The service is friendly and fast. I would recommend it to travellers who aren't looking for a special night out but a quick,good and affordable lunch or dinner. Value for money. more
